We are a grassroots coalition of students from the San Francisco Art Institute. SFA @ SFAI formed as the result of the crisis situation we find our beloved art school is facing.​

SFA MISSION STATEMENT:

To keep SFAI open for the next academic year, graduate current students
with SFAI degrees, provide assistance to current faculty, and create a

runway for creative solutions.

Ultimate Goal:

Our ultimate goal is to see this 150 year-old cultural powerhouse continue on as
one of the remaining independent art schools of its kind for another 150 years.

​

The institution needs updates to its board, marketing strategies, communications,
public relations and finance management. Some of this work has previously
already begun through The Re-Imaging Committee. That foundation needs
support from our greater community to continue this restructuring and save the
deeply important legacy that is the San Francisco Art Institute.
